Nina Pereira Kvadsheim

Nina Pereira Kvadsheim holds a master's degree in Logistics from Molde University College, with specialization in Supply Chain Management. 
Nina is currently a PhD student at Molde University College (HiM), funded by Møre og Romsdal County. In her PhD project, she is working on how industrial companies in Møre og Romsdal county can improve their competitiveness nationally and internationally using methodology and technology, which supports the circular economic strategy. The project aims to develop a set of approaches for capturing economic-, environmental- and brand value by digitalization and circular processes and products in the context of manufacturing industry. The study will further expound on investigating main policy interventions that could accelerate the implementation of circular economy in such an industry. The PhD project is expected to finish in the autumn of 2020.
Nina has been employed at Møreforsking Molde since September 2014. At Møreforsking, she works in a logistics group mainly with sustainable logistics and Circular Economy as her specialty. She has previously worked in Malawi with various UN organizations (UNHCR, WFP and UNICEF) as a research assistant, and in Norway with Molde municipality as a subject teacher at Kleive School.
