WORK FIELD

Thomas Hagby Dahl

Thomas has a master’s degree in Ocean Resources from NTNU in Trondheim (2021) and is specialized within the field of aquaculture. He has a bachelor’s degree in biology from NTNU in Trondheim (2019). His master’s thesis was on polychaetes (Hediste diversicolor) fed on aquaculture sludge, as an alternative feed resource for future fish feed. Thomas also has practical experience as an operation technician at Hofseth Aqua AS and has worked with production of salted dried cod at Fjordlaks AS.
 
Thomas started working at Møreforsking in January 2022, focusing on seafood quality and marine ingredients research in the Sjømatforedling research group. His research interests include marine ingredients, raw material and alternative feed resources.
