WORK FIELD

Helge Bremnes

Helge Bremnes is an economist from the University of Bergen and researcher in fields related to business economics. In recent years, he has worked on evaluating effects of public R&D and innovation policy, analyses of market design of the power market, analyses of incentive systems for the transportation sector, and various analyses of the supplier industry in the maritime sector. He has also participated in several cost-benefit analyses projects, including the research infrastructure at IFE-Halden, and participated in various team relationships, together with Metier, in quality assurance (KS1) of major public projects for the Ministry of Finance.
 
Bremnes also has extensive teaching experience from Molde University College in economics. Both through his work in various projects and in the context of education, Bremnes has acquired skills related to a number of methodological issues in socioeconomic cost-benefit analyses.
